January Beauty Favourites

Best beauty products 2018 fenty beauty guerlain rae morris brushes

I’m back into my monthly beauty favourites series this year, and what a month to start! I tried out so many amazing products in January, and I’m rounding up my absolute favourites below.

Rae Morris Jishaku Brushes: I had the pleasure of hearing Rae talk about her new brush collection last month, and I was lucky enough to have a play around with a few of her brushes during January. These magnetic brushes are made in Japan by some of the best brush makers in the world, taking traditional Japanese brush making techniques and applying them to modern designs. Favourites from the range include the #1 Deluxe Kabuki brush (perfect for blush and contouring) and the #8.5 Crème Shadow Shader (my new go-to blending brush for cream eyeshadows).

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Mascara: One of my long-time favourite mascaras, I recently rediscovered this Marc Jacobs Beauty mascara and have been using it non-stop over the last couple of months. This gives lashes instant volume and won’t budge throughout the day. What’s not to love?!

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (Australian link here): Makeup removal made easy; this Elemis cleansing balm is infused with nourishing oils and works to melt away makeup, dirt and impurities in an instant. Rose and mimosa waxes are infused with nourishing elderberry, starflower and Optimega oils. It leaves my skin looking glowing every time!

Charlotte Tilbury Brightening Youth Glow: If you’re following me on Instagram, you already know how much I love Charlotte Tilbury (read about my top 5 favourites here), and this product was no exception! Brightening Youth Glow is an anti-ageing, colour-correcting, glow boosting primer. It contains pearlescent pigments to even your skin tone and give it an amazing healthy glow. I love wearing this either as a primer or on it’s own to help brighten tired skin.

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Lipstick

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Lipstick: These lipsticks are so pigmented and comfortable to wear, with the nicest matte finish. I’ve been loving these neutral shades, Spanked and S1ngle.

Guerlain L’OR Radiance Primer: An amazing luxurious and hydrating primer, this Radiance Concentrate is infused with pure gold flecks, providing a beautifully glowing complexion in an instant. Wear it alone or under makeup.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Creme

Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème: Creamy and pigmented, these Marc Jacobs Lipsticks are a dream to wear and come in a stunning shade range. My current favourite is the shade ‘228 Infamous’.
